Delete your account

This page exists because Google Play requires a way to request account deletion from outside the app. The fastest route is inside it, and takes about fifteen seconds.

In the app

Open Minnu.
Go to Settings.
Scroll to Danger zone → Delete your account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period and no recovery.

If you no longer have the app

Email founder@nikhilnelson.com from the email address you signed in with, with the subject Delete my Minnu account. We will verify that the request comes from the account holder and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by reply.

If you used Minnu as a guest and never signed in, we have no way to identify your account from an email — a guest account is deliberately not linked to any personal identifier. In that case, reinstall the app only if it still restores your session; otherwise the account remains unlinked to you and will be removed under our retention schedule.

What gets deleted

Your profile and everything you told Minnu during onboarding
Your entire conversation, every message
Every memory she has of you, and the index built from them
Your relationship stage, history and milestones
Your subscription record with us, and your usage counters
Your notification schedule and this device's messaging token
Your sign-in credential

What is kept, and why

Reports you filed about Minnu's messages. These are safety records about content our system generated rather than records about you, and Google Play expects the moderation trail to survive. Your identity is unlinked from them at the moment of deletion.
Routine backups may still contain deleted data for up to 30 days before being overwritten.

Your subscription is separate

Deleting your Minnu account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the Play Store under Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions, or you will keep being billed.

Want to keep a copy first?

Settings → Export your data gives you everything we hold as a readable JSON file, including your whole conversation and every memory. Do this before deleting — there is no copy afterwards.
