Get help with camera setup, reminders, local data, and FormBuddy Premium.

Camera workout does not start

1. Open Android Settings → Apps → FormBuddy → Permissions.
2. Allow Camera access.
3. Place the phone securely with your full body visible and use even lighting.
4. Close other apps using the camera and reopen FormBuddy.

Rep counts or cues look wrong

Use the camera angle shown for the selected exercise. Keep required joints visible, avoid backlighting, and move through a complete controlled range. FormBuddy provides estimates and may pause counting when confidence is low.

Reminders do not appear

Enable notifications for FormBuddy in Android Settings and confirm the reminder is enabled in More → Workout reminders. Device battery restrictions can delay local notifications.

Premium purchase or restore

Use the same Google Play account that made the purchase, check that Play Store is online, then open FormBuddy Premium and choose Restore purchases. Do not send payment-card details by email.

Export or delete workout data

Premium users can choose Export workout data in More and select a destination through Android's share interface. To remove local workout records, use More → Legal & privacy → Delete workout data or follow the data deletion guide.
